Just-Eat’s first UK TV campaign shortlisted for Thinkbox Award Comments Off

Posted on May 28, 2010 by Mat Braddy

Last year we launched our first ever UK TV campaign and gave the world our heroes Belly and Brain. We are a small player in a big boys game when it comes to TV – our spend has been careful and well targeted so we won’t be offended if you say you have never seen them. We’ve taken a digital planning approach and tried to apply this to TV rather than going crazy with a big branding push – and this approach has worked out rather well. In fact so well we are delighted to say we’ve been put on the shortlist for the TV advertising awards run by Thinkbox.

We are really delighted by this – there were literally thousands of campaigns run over the course of the last 12 months so for our first campaign to recognised alongside great brands such as Sky, Orange, O2, Lastminute.com and Sainsbury’s is really something special. We might not win so let us take this opportunity to thank the people that helped us do this – our ad agency Hooper Galton and Rik Moore, part-time comic, full-time media planning wizard, at Edwards, Groom & Saunders.

Welcome to the new .com site. Our .com has to develop with the same speed as our company, so the graphical revamp we did last summer is already outdated, time for change. Browse around and get to know us. If you are a talented professional we might have a job for you, or if you are a potential partner you can see who to contact. If you are not looking for a job or partnership, then you can always click on one of the country websites and order a nice Butter Chicken, a Hawaiian Pizza or Maybe some Sushi.
