Just Eat hits milestone in Spain with 10,000th restaurant partner

Landmark follows signing of more than 50 restaurant chains and reinforces market leadership

Just Eat Spain has today announced its 10,000th restaurant partner spanning over 1,000 districts in the country. Having operated in Spain since 2010, the range of independent restaurants on the Just Eat platform mirrors the variety of cuisine across the country. Just Eat provides these independent restaurant partners with the technology, data and insight to grow their business, access a wider range of customers - more than two million order food at home online in Spain - and increase their turnover by between 15% and 25% on average.

This has now been complemented by a number of big brands, offering customers the widest possible choice of meal occasions. Having traditionally worked with restaurants that have their own delivery service, Just Eat is increasingly providing delivery services for those that do not offer this.

Using data analysis and an intelligent algorithm, Just Eat helps restaurants to identify areas with the highest demand for food delivery, makes recommendations based on customer tastes and the types of food that people most demand and helps them to manage congestion in restaurant kitchens. This helps restaurants better manage and grow their business and provides customers with the best possible choice.

In addition to the recent agreement announced with Burger King, the restaurant chains now signed to Just Eat Spain include Telepizza, KFC, Papa Johns, Grupo Alsea Iberia (which includes the restaurant brands VIPS, Ginos and Fridays), Grupo Restalia (with brands such as TGB, 100 Montaditos, and La Sureña), Compañía del Trópico (with the brands Panaria, Charlotte Café, Café&Tapas, Café&Té), Beer&Food (with brands such as Tommy Mel’s, Tony Roma’s, Carl’s Jr, La Chelinda and Gambrinus) and Goiko Grill.
